Who is Chris

A chef. Always curious.

I’m Christopher Archer, head chef at the Michelin-starred Pentonbridge Inn in Cumbria. Food has taken me to remarkable places, but it’s the people, produce and quiet moments along the way that continue to inspire me.

The Journey

Every kitchen leaves its mark.

From my first days in a busy kitchen to a life in Cumbria, each place has shaped how I cook and think about food. It’s been a journey of people, places and lessons, and it still is.
